Hi, my name is Vashti, 48 years young… well, almost! I’m mum , wife & doggy mum too.
I’ve been part of the NHS since 2015, starting as Bank on the wards before being offered a full-time HCA role in Outpatients and Phlebotomy. Even when my roles changed, I always kept up my skills in taking blood and clinical care — because once you’ve got the skill, you never lose it!

Over the last couple of years, I’ve worked in Older Persons Mental Health, Dementia, and Early Psychosis, which allowed me to use both my clinical abilities and my passion for mental wellbeing. Supporting others, no matter how small the gesture, has always meant everything to me.

🌟 Why Aesthetics? Why Now?

My skill with needles naturally led me to develop a deep interest in Aesthetics.
When my dear Grandad passed away, he left me an inheritance — money he and my Nan worked incredibly hard for. My daughter, Immy, and I decided to use it to create something meaningful, something they’d be proud of… and that’s how SAPPHIRE was born.

My journey actually began long before that, as a young girl working Saturdays in salon my dear Nan’s went to get her hair done — from very young age cutting all my dolls’ hair long before that I guess what clue to future haha
Hair, beauty, and Caring about others has always been a part of me.

This year hasn’t been easy health-wise. But taking time to heal gave me clarity about what truly matters: family, wellbeing, balance, and following my passion. It pushed me to finally take the leap into becoming an Aesthetics Practitioner and refreshing my hair career with Hair Extensions.

📚 My Training & Professional Standards

It’s been a year of growth. I’ve gone from basic foundations in fillers and toxins to completing:
• Level 3 & 4 Anatomy & Physiology
• Working toward Level 4 & 5
•Advanced Aesthetics training
• Aesthetics Complications Course (because safety always comes first!)
• Additional training in Sculptra and my favourite: PRP — a natural treatment close to my heart as a long-time phlebotomist.
Plus much more to offer also.

Most of my aesthetics journey has been supported by the incredible team at Deja-Vu in Bristol.

I take clinical standards seriously. Every product I use is UK-registered and safe, and I make sure my knowledge, compliance, and practice remain fully up to date for both your safety and mine.

💙 A Fresh Start

After facing health challenges, I realised I needed a change from working in Mental Health — it was having an impact on my own wellbeing. Once I got the all-clear, I made a big career shift.

I recently accepted a new role with InHealth, still working within the hospital but as a Clinical Assistant in the brand-new CDC Diagnostic Centre (MRI, CT, and more!). This means:
• fewer days,
• better work–life balance,
• more time with family,
• AND more time to grow my aesthetics & hair business with you amazing divas on side .

Plus… I still get to keep my needle skills sharp — because yes, I do love a good jab!

Ooh and did I tell you we are also a Hair Extensions Training Academy too
We trained in Many Professional techniques . Not to mentioned I’m Beauty Works Trained . One the first groups meaning 1 of 18 in countrie trained in LONDON to do Invisible Nanos .

Having got very fine hair I went on to train in further in Mech intergradation techniques too .

SAPPHIRE Aesthetics & Hair is not just my dream — it’s for Immy, too.
She’s now starting college for Hair & Beauty, and together we’re creating a warm, friendly, safe space where everyone is welcome, listened to, and supported.

Many clients become good friends, and that’s exactly how we want it to feel.
Your treatments & wellbeing plus beam with confidence is our aim.

We’ve also recently moved to Yeovil to make life easier and continue this new chapter.
